About Charles Morris Hall
Charles Morris Hall is a perfect venue for a birthday celebration, informal gathering, team or club meeting or recreational classes. It is situated in the rural hamlet of Tyttenhanger Green on the outskirts of St Albans, Hertfordshire.
The Hall is decorated and maintained to a high standard. It benefits from a modern central heating system affording comfort and warmth during the colder months, and a beautifully light and airy conservatory, ideal for those long summer evenings.
To the rear of the Hall is a community field, edged by an assortment of established trees and hedgerows, enjoyed by many birds, insects and small animals, and adding to the overall tranquility for those seeking space to relax or focus.
The main hall is a bright, spacious area, simply decorated and gifted with a beautiful polished wooden floor, ideal for dancing, children’s games, exercise classes, dining or those simply wanting to mingle with friends for a special occasion.
The Hall comfortably seats approximately 100 guests, with tables and chairs included in the hire (please note, the maximum occupancy is 120).

Adjacent to the main hall is a small kitchen area, equipped with a range cooker, commercial glass washer, fridge, washing/preparation sinks, and small appliances such as a microwave and kettle.
A convenient serving hatch provides perfect accessibility directly into the Hall.
There is a separate ‘bar’ area with cooling cabinets for drinks, a bottle and barrel storage area, and a wide ‘pub-style’ bar hatch directly into the Hall.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Hall.
The Hall is on a single level making it easily accessible from the car park for those with disabilities. It has a dedicated accessible toilet, which also serves as a baby changing room.
The paved off-street car park can accommodate approximately 25 vehicles.
